Creating service calls manually from multiple data sources is time-consuming and inconsistent. ID948 is a service call import utility that automatically generates service calls in e-automate from a variety of sources, including service call emails processed by ID802, and data from PSA tools such as Autotask (ID914). This removes the need for manual entry regardless of where the original notification came from.
To use ID948, you must subscribe to a service call data collection process (such as ID802 for emails), so that ID948 knows what service calls it's generating. It's possible to have multiple processes collecting and feeding service call data into tables ready for ID948 to use to generate the calls in eAuto.
We're currently testing ID948 and expect to release in July 2026 if tests go well.
