Eqp installed without Warranty Date or Install Date set (In Development)

This alert will work within the ID815 workflow app to check new serialized equipment records created from the POReceiver , or check equipment records sold for the first time on sales orders, and update the warranty expiration date accordingly.  Some manufacturers offer warranty from date of receipt, others from date of install.  To cover both scenarious, this alert will require you to create 2 new custom properties and add those both to the Model custom property configuration and to the Make custom property configuration. 
We suggest you create them as : 

Warranty days from Receipt date

Warrant days from Install date

You would update those values accordingly on the 'Make' table as the default to use for equipment created (assuming that it's only one or the other that the mfg has).   For those models that had different # of days , you would update the appropriate custom property on the Model table.   This will not support a dual case scenario however, so be aware that we currently support only one or the other (# of days from receipt OR # of days from install).  

The receipt scenario would only cover the initial received date from PO receivers (in case you are buying back used equipment in which case those machines would NOT have mfg warranty) , or in the case for # of days from installed, it will only trigger on the 'first' sales order selling instance (so that a sell of used equipment would not get a new warranty date).
