If after a Tech’s car stock is counted he is missing one part that cost $500 and has an extra part that costs $450 then the standard eAuto physical inventory status report will show the count as off $50. However many service managers consider the stock off $950. This version of the report will show the variance as $950.
Another twist is the $ variance is not an indication of a techs car stock accuracy, their 'qty' variance as a % of total quantities carried is the real metric. So we have the Accuracy % score as the Total Absolute value of the variance (-1 is 1, 1 is 1...ABS function ) / TotalQtyAllItems to show how well they kept track of their car stock.
